Beyond the Rainbow

For a long time, queer people have fought for their right to get recognized and
accepted by society. Only after the struggle of centuries, queer people have finally
secured a place in society. Over the years queer literature has developed significantly
and has paved the way for a society where gender fluidity and queer identities are
celebrated. Queer literature has undergone significant changes and it has become
more bold and unapologetic. It defies the social standards of heteronormativity
and inspires people to be free in their sexual identity and celebrate their authentic
selves without fearing judgment from society. Queer literature has not only talked
about queer lives but it has also highlighted the complexities of queer life.
